Container Wharf Transport and Storage
Kagan Logistics has a long association with the waterfront, specialising in wharf cartage and ancillary services.
Access to the online wharf Vehicle Booking System helps us to help our customers make a smooth transition from the wharf to store.
Our current operations are capable of pre-receiving containers, container yard storage, fumigation and quarantine services.
Kagan has a range of heavy forklifts and a Kalmar reach stacker with the ability to stack 20 foot and 40 foot containers five high and three deep. In addition, we operate a range of specialised transport equipment, including tipping skels, drop deck trailers, low profile retractable trailers and side-loaders.
Kagan Logistics warehouses are ‘Quarantine Approved Premises’ under the Australian Quarantine Inspection Service (AQIS) licenced depots scheme. AQIS certification allows us to store and handle goods that are subject to quarantine inspection. The licence also gives us the authority to control goods directed by AQIS for treatment. In Victoria, Kagan staff have also been trained and certified to inspect shipping containers prior to packing for export as per AQIS regulations.
