OUR HISTORY
Lazar Kagan founded Kagan Bros Consolidated Pty Ltd in 1950, together with nephews Geoffrey and Leon, (the respective fathers of Gary and Mark Kagan). The initial focus of the business was processing and exporting textile waste. This business was sold in the early 1970s, and the family turned its attention to warehousing and distribution.
Gary Kagan (B. Comm) and Mark Kagan (B.Ec. LLB), who have over 60 years combined experience in the logistics industry, were actively involved in running the business from 1985 until April 2008 when Kagan Logistics was merged with four other successful and long standing family businesses - Bunker Freight Lines, Doolan's Heavy Haulage, WA Freight Group and Hoffmanns Transport - becoming a member of the Silk Logsitics Group.
