Kagan understands the importance of staying up to date with the latest information technology (IT) developments, ensuring our IT team possesses a wide range of skills, from operations through to networking and communication, allowing Kagan to be responsive and flexible to customer needs.
Our IT team work closely with customers, to make sure implementation, integration and, more importantly, ongoing improvements occur seamlessly, in a timely manner and at minimal cost.

The Kagan Warehouse Management System (WMS)
The Kagan Warehouse Management System has enabled us to provide efficient and cost effective solutions for our clients. The System is configurable to provide for our clients' many diverse requirements. Warehouse transactions can be handled either via a paper-based and/or RF paperless processing system.
Another core feature of our WMS is its electronic data interchange (EDI) module capable of handling most file formats. Kagan is an accredited scan pack service provider, adhering to both the Coles/Myer and Woolworths scan pack requirements. This accreditation allows Kagan to receive, acknowledge, process and supply an advance shipment notice (ASN) for all purchase orders on behalf of our clients. Kagan Logistics is an accredited scan pack provider with all major retailers.
The Kagan Transport Management System (TMS)
In an ever changing supply chain market and a growing national business, Kagan Logistics recognises the need for an efficient Transport Management System that provides our customers with increased benefits.
Features of our fully automated and integrated Transport Management System include:
- Real time reporting
- Live online container tracking
- Live online pallet and LCL delivery tracking
- Online job logging
- DIFOT reporting
- Suite of container and pallet movement reports

Customers will shortly be able to book their container arrival time via our online Wharf Booking System.
Kagan Online
Kagan Online allows clients to securely log on via any web browser, anywhere, and at any time to view real time information on Orders, Receipts and Stock on Hand at any Kagan warehouse. Clients are able to directly access Proof of Delivery (POD) or link into most 3rd party carriers track and trace systems for any shipped order.
Kagan’s dynamic online reporting allows clients to run on demand or to schedule reports on Orders, Receipts and Stock. These reports can be created either as an excel file that customers can save or as a PDF document which customers can print directly to their local printers or save and manipulate the data.
